Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (HICAS) marked a significant milestone recently with the official launch of the Hindusthan International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research.
This initiative aims to elevate research efforts, foster global academic collaborations, and promote the sharing of knowledge across various disciplines.
The premiere issue of the journal was unveiled by T.R.K. Saraswathi, Managing Trustee, Hindusthan Educational Institutions, and K. Priya, Executive Trustee and Secretary of Hindusthan Educational Institutions.
The event was further enriched by insightful presentations from Ponnusamy, Principal of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science and Karunakaran, CEO of Hindusthan Educational Institutions and both of whom discussed the evolving landscape of academic publishing.
The newly launched website, designed with a user-friendly interface, offers easy access to information on the journal’s submission guidelines, editorial policies, current and past publications, and author resources.
The journal’s focus on open access ensures that research is available to a global audience, promoting wider dissemination of knowledge.
Anuradha, the Chief Editor, introduced the journal’s objectives and scope, emphasizing its commitment to open access and rigorous peer review. She also outlined the submission process, encouraging faculty, students, and researchers to contribute to this new academic platform.
A panel discussion titled “The Future of Academic Publishing” featured Directors and Heads of Departments, providing a forum for an engaging conversation on the challenges and opportunities in scholarly communication.
The event concluded with a networking session, fostering connections and collaboration among participants.
