In a remarkable stride toward rural upliftment and community care, the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science organised a Free Health Check-up Camp in of Devanampalayam, recently.
The camp aimed at empowering rural lives through accessible healthcare services. The residents received free medical consultations and basic health screenings, including general check-ups, blood pressure monitoring and blood sugar testing, under the care of doctors and medical professionals from Sri Ramakrishna Hospital.
Beyond diagnosing ailments, the event served as a platform to educate villagers on preventive healthcare practices, instilling a culture of proactive well-being.
The camp was Initiated by Kalaivani, Principal of the College.
