The people in Periyathadagam village lack access to proper medication and were travelling six km to reach the Hospital for even basic treatments. Concerning this, the Rotaract Club of GCT Coimbatore recently along with Sre Iswarya Hospital, R.S. Puram, conducted a medical camp.
The doctors provided health advice and provided medicines for a period of 30 days. Additionally, the club and the Hospital sponsored ₹32,500 worth of medications and support for the villagers.
The village consists of around 120 families. The people were very happy and satisfied with the medical care and attention they received.
