Hindusthan College of Arts and Science (HICAS) recently organised a Placement Order Distribution Ceremony for the graduating batch of 2025.
A record-setting 2164 placement offers were distributed across key industry sectors including Information Technology, Life Sciences, Banking, Finance, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
Dalin, Placement Director, delivered the Welcome Address. In his Presidential Address, Ponnusamy, Principal of the College, congratulated the students and reaffirmed the institution’s unwavering commitment to holistic education and employability.
A Special Address was rendered by TRK Sarasuwathi, Secretary of the College, and K. Priya, Executive Secretary of the College.
Addressing the gathering, Sarasuwathi remarked, “It is a moment of immense pride and joy to see so many of our students stepping confidently into their professional journeys. At Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, we believe not just in imparting education but in shaping futures. Today’s achievement — 2164 placement orders across top companies is a reflection of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our faculty, and the strong support from our industry partners.”
Further, she stated that, “I encourage each one of you to carry forward the values you have imbibed, the commitment, excellence, and integrity — into your workplaces. Remember, this is just the beginning.”

The Chief Guest Address was delivered by celebrated speaker and thought leader, “Chinthanai Kavingar” Kavidasan, Director, Roots Industries India Limited, and Secretary, Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School.
He inspired the students with words of motivation, highlighting the importance of adaptability and lifelong learning in today’s dynamic work environment.
The students are placed at top companies, including TCS, Zoho, Cognizant, Wipro, Artech, and Sutherland.
