Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (SNMVCAS), underwent the NAAC Re-Accreditation (4th Cycle), recently.

Sambasiva Rao, Former Vice Chancellor, Mizoram University, Mohammad Sarosh Umar, Professor, Department of Computer Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh and Babu Tharith, Principal, Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Bangalore, Karnataka were the peer team members visited the campus and evaluated the performance based on various parameters, including curriculum, teaching-learning methods, innovations and extensions, infrastructure, library, laboratory and its facilities, students’ development, college management and coordination.

The team lauded the college for being one of the best colleges. The Peer team members witnessed and appreciated the five years of excellence in academics and also stated positive notes on the works of various cells like YRC, IIC, EDC, RRC and NCC& NSS.

Based on the evaluation of the college’s excellent academic activities, five-year criteria records and marvellous infrastructure the team was recommended accreditation. The peer team was satisfied with the college’s academic work and the college was accredited with an ‘A+’ ranking by the NAAC Re-Accreditation.
