Rao Hospital’s Super Kids 5th Edition was held in celebration with Children’s Day, recently.

The event saw more than 40 teams compete in the quiz competition, with PSBB Millennium School emerging as the winner.

Additionally, 235 children showcased their artistic skills in the drawing contest, while 45 participants took part in the fancy dress competition.

The highlight of the day was the first-ever baby crawl race in Coimbatore, which saw 24 little participants crawling their way to victory, where parents and spectators cheered the kids.

Cash prizes and exciting gifts were awarded to winners across all categories, motivating the young talents to continue pursuing their passions with confidence and creativity.

In addition to the Children’s Day celebration, Rao Hospital also took the opportunity to raise awareness about cervical cancer. The event featured a special awareness program on the occasion of Cervical Cancer Elimination Day, organized in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore, Aakruthi.

Dr. Asha Rao, Medical Director and Chief Consultant- ObGyn & Fertility, Rao Hospital emphasized the vital role of early screening and vaccination in preventing cervical cancer. “Early screening and vaccination are essential in the fight against cervical cancer. We are committed to raising awareness and making healthcare services accessible to all.”

She also highlighted the importance of vaccinating young girls to protect them from this preventable disease.

As part of the awareness initiative, Rao Hospital offered a chance to three lucky winners from the raffle draw to receive free cervical cancer vaccination – two doses each – as part of their commitment to public health.
