Rathinam College of Arts and Science welcomed four postgraduate Physics students from Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, Kerala, for a research internship at its Department of Physics and Rathinam Research Hub.
This initiative is part of an ongoing student exchange and research collaboration facilitated by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions.
The students will engage in interdisciplinary research projects spanning Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Mathematics, and other fields.
They will have access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) under the STAR College Scheme.
Sabareesh, Dean of Research & Development, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This internship program reflects our commitment to fostering academic excellence and research innovation. We are thrilled to host these talented students and support their contributions to ongoing interdisciplinary research.”
Suresh, Dean of the School of Science, highlighted the significance of the DBT-Star College Scheme supported facilities, saying, “The students will have access to cutting-edge resources that will enable them to conduct high-quality research and gain valuable hands-on experience.”
Balasubramanian, Principal of Rathinam College, warmly welcomed the students and assured them of the institution’s full support. “We are committed to providing all necessary resources and guidance to ensure the success of their research projects. Our campus facilities are at their disposal to help them achieve their academic and research goals,” he said.
