Karpagam College of Engineering (KCE) hosted YUVA-2024 a Freshmen Induction Program for the 25 th Batch of first year BE Mechanical and B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science students, recently.
Ravikumar, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering welcomed the new students. Kumar Chinnaiyan, the Principal of the College felicitated the gathering.
The presidential address was given by Vasanthakumar, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Karpagam Institutions, highlighted the vast development of technology in recent years which has brought enormous job opportunities for the students. He also insisted the students to choose their role models in the name of Sir CV. Raman and Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam.
The Chief Guest Mayileragu Sundararajan, a renowned educationalist inspired the pupils to own up for their actions and work towards their objectives with regularity and commitment. He insisted the students to make Self-Appreciation as an important practice. He also said that it’s all about recognizing your own strengths, accomplishments and the unique qualities that make you know who you are.
The induction program concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Kiruthiga, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The event laid a solid foundation for their academic journey and helped them feel more connected to their new environment. The students were confident that the experiences and connections made during this event will positively impact their upcoming year.
