Kongunadu Arts and Science College (KASC) (Autonomous), Department of Commerce with Information Technology and Kasc – IIC organised the Entrepreneurship Development Program, recently.
Dr. Raj Kumar Mittal, UGC Member; Sathya Narayanan, Tamil Nadu State Organiser; Swadeshi Jagran Manch and Sathishraj, Founder and CEO – E-Crusadders, Chennai were the chief guests.
The program was presided over by C A Vasuki, Secretary of the college. In her presidential address, she emphasised that entrepreneurship is not just about building businesses; it is all about building communities. It is about creating value, not just for you, but for others. It is about leaving a legacy that will inspire future generations.
Dr. Raj Kumar Mittal, inaugurated the program and gave insights on Entrepreneurship Development and its importance in creating entrepreneurs for nation-building – fostering innovation and employment opportunities. He highlighted equal participation from males and females as entrepreneurs will increase GDP by 27%. He emphasised the need to choose entrepreneurship as a career opportunity.
Sathya Narayanan highlighted that every great entrepreneur started with a single idea, a spark of inspiration. What sets them apart is their determination to see that idea through to fruition.
The session was followed by Ideation Bootcamp. Sathishraj gave inputs on transforming ideas into opportunities. An idea focused on a human-centred approach – empowering change through empathy will win and help to sustain the market, he added.
