The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Coimbatore, recently felicitated Dr. S. Raja Sabapathy, Chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Reconstructive Microsurgery, and Burns at Ganga Hospital, on his appointment as President of the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (IFSSH), following its Governing Council Meeting.
The Chamber lauded the appointment, stating, “This prestigious appointment is a testament to Dr. S. Raja Sabapathy’s exemplary contributions and his unwavering commitment to advancing global medical standards.”
While addressing the Chamber members, Dr. Sabapathy attributed this significant achievement to consistent quality, a commitment to service, and adherence to the four A’s – Availability, Affability, Ability, and Affordability.
He shared that he secured the presidency with 65% of the vote, despite strong competition from candidates representing the UK and China, highlighting the trust placed in him by the global community.
Dr. Sabapathy remarked, “Many members have visited our institutions and witnessed our transparent operations firsthand. Our implementation of best-in-class quality control practices has earned us international recognition.”
He concluded by stating, “This milestone is not just a personal achievement, but a step forward for India. My focus will remain on doing the best for our country.”
