The Rotaract Club of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College organised an event ‘REVIVE,’ recently, aimed at supporting and uplifting the underprivileged community in Coimbatore.
As part of this initiative, we focused on providing a much-needed grooming service, specifically offering free haircuts to beggars near Government Hospital.
The team engaged with individuals living on the streets and managed to assist two of them by offering professional haircuts. This seemingly simple act brought a significant transformation, giving them not only a refreshed appearance but also a renewed sense of dignity.
Both of the beneficiaries expressed immense joy and gratitude after receiving their haircuts. Seeing themselves with a neat, well-groomed appearance made them feel overwhelmed with happiness. This small gesture of students helped restore the beggars’ confidence and self-esteem, reminding them that they are not forgotten by society.
