C.Dorairaj, Proprietor, Pazhamudir Nilayam, Coimbatore, who served the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Coimbatore (ICCI – Coimbatore) as Treasurer (2016-2020), Hon. Secretary (2020-2022), and Vice President (2022-2026) has been unanimously elected as its President for the term 2026-2028.
It was made official at the 92nd Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of ICCI, Coimbatore held on Wednesday, which was attended by Past Presidents, Senior and current members of the Chamber. He is designated by the Chamber to serve las a Member of various Committees formed by the State Government.
Immediate Past President Rajesh Lund presented the Annual Report for the year 2025-26, highlighting various activities of the Chamber, especially the representations it made on behalf of Coimbatore for its development.
At the 92nd AGM it was decided that the Chamber will continue its efforts and pursue with the State and Central Government for various needs of Coimbatore that includes key flyovers, Western Bypass (phase 2&3), widening of old Uppipalayam Flyover’s roundabout and down ramp, expansion of Sathyam Road from Ganapathy to Saravanampatti, expansion of L&T Bypass, Integrated Bus Terminal, Metro Rail Project, Airport expansion. Resolutions in this regard were adopted at the AGM.
