In a proud and memorable celebration of Doctors’ Day 2026, Dr. P.S. Rajan, Chairman of ELCE Hospital, was conferred the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Association of Alliance Clubs International in association with the VGM Foundation.
Dr Sumathi, Joint Director of Health Services, Coimbatore honoured Dr Rajan with the award.
The award recognises Dr. Rajan’s extraordinary lifetime of dedication to the medical profession, outstanding surgical excellence, compassionate patient care, visionary leadership, and invaluable contributions to the healthcare community spanning over three decades.
The award was presented during the Doctors’ Day celebrations held at the VGM Hospital, in the presence of distinguished medical professionals, healthcare leaders, social service organizations, members of the Association of Alliance Clubs International, Dr VG Mohan Prasad, Chairman, VGM Hospital, and his family.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Rajan has earned the trust of thousands of patients through his commitment to ethical medical practice and clinical excellence. As a highly respected gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgeon, he has continuously worked towards delivering quality healthcare with compassion while mentoring young doctors and contributing significantly to society.
Receiving the honour, Dr. Rajan expressed his heartfelt gratitude and dedicated the recognition to his patients, colleagues, family members, and the entire ELCE Hospital team, acknowledging that their unwavering support has been instrumental throughout his journey.
