The Department of Mathematics of CMS College of Science and Commerce recently organized “Ramanujan Commemorative Celebrations” in memory of the great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
The program creates awareness among the school students regarding the Applications of Mathematics. More than 700+ students from 20+ different schools actively participated in various competitions like Math Quiz, Rook Polynomial, Math Rangoli, Math Gallery, Surprise events and many more events related to mathematical concepts were conducted.
Students were awarded trophies and certificates. Students were taken to “Math Model Lab” which demonstrates real-life math problems.
