A section of employees working at ACC Cement Factory in Madukarai, Coimbatore protested against the management, accusing it of firing staff employed for long in the factory, and replacing them with new workers from Mumbai.
The protested before the factory on Thursday, raising slogans against Adani Group, which bought the company in 2022. It acquired 54% of the shares.
