The Department of Management Sciences at Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology organized ‘HiMAC 2025’ an inter-collegiate management carnival for undergraduate and postgraduate students recently.

Guru Selvaraj, Vice President of Human Resources and Industrial Relations at Sri Ranganathar Industries Pvt. Ltd., graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The welcome address was delivered by Kaarthiekheyan, Head of the Department of Management Sciences.

Jaya, Principal of the college presided over the function and she highlighted the profound impact of the geek economy on contemporary business. Her insightful perspective highlighted how emerging technologies, from artificial intelligence to blockchain, are transforming industries and Business models.

The chief guest in his address emphasized that beyond mere communication, language serves as a conduit for culture, history, and profound human connection by drawing upon the wisdom of Tamil Literature.

The event featured competitive events designed to challenge and engage participants in six events: Vibrant Ventures (Innovative Pitch), Fire Brigade (Best Management Team), Finanza (IPL Auction), Percepx (Marketing), Brain Battle (Business Quiz), and Culture Captain (Best Manager).

Felicitation addresses were offered by TRK Sarasuwathi, Managing Trustee, Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust and K Priya, Executive Trustee and Secretary, Hindusthan Group of Institutions highlighting the importance of such events in fostering management skills.

A total of 160 participants from various institutions participated in the management carnival.
