The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy hosted ‘AASAN – Honoring the Guiding Lights,’ an award ceremony dedicated to recognising the invaluable contributions of government school teachers.
The ceremony was held at VLB Janakiammal College of Arts & Science, the event served as an official acknowledgement of the enduring efforts of teachers who shaped the future through their knowledge and dedication.
As part of ‘RSAMDIO’s ‘Gurukkul’ Initiative’, which honoured the essential role of teachers across South Asia, the Rotaract Club recognized 55 government school teachers from Coimbatore, and presented them with citations for their exceptional contributions.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of the Special Invitee including, Satheeshkumar Bangarusamy, Principal of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts & Science; Special Invitee Rtn. Palaniappan, President of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy and Guest of Honour Rtn. PHF Hendry Amalraj, District Chairman of Interact Clubs Zone I & Zone II.
The award ceremony featured addresses by Guest of Honour Kumaraswamy and Chief Guest Rtn. MD Fredricks John.
