Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies (VIMS), Placement Cell organised Programme on Meet and Greet – Corporate Training for 2025-27 MBA Batch Students (Day 3) on 25th July 2025.
Valarmathi, Director of VIMS, delivered the presidential address, welcoming the chief guest and the students. She highlighted the importance of such events in bridging the gap between academic and corporate life.
Venugopal, Executive Director of Brainwave Business Solutions, shared his expertise on reengineering attitude, entrepreneurial journey, and finding the right funding agencies.
He emphasised the importance of empathy, listening, and patience in everyone’s life and discussed various managerial skills such as goal setting, experiential learning, body language, and managerial attire.
The session also included interactive management games and ice-breaking activities designed to help students understand each other, remove ego and shyness, and build confidence.
Through video tutorials and practical examples, Venugopal provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the skills required to succeed in the corporate world.
The event was well-received by the students, who appreciated the opportunity to learn from an industry expert and gain valuable insights into the world of management and entrepreneurship.
