‘Third Ramanujam’—the biography of G. Alagar Ramanujam, an educationist and spiritualist—was released on 7th May 2025 in Chennai
Alagar Ramanujam served as the Head of the Physics Department and Principal of N.G.M. College, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, from 1994 to 1999. He was also a devoted disciple of Vethathiri Maharishi.
The book, authored by a five-member editorial board, chronicles Alagar Ramanujam’s life, scientific insights, and philosophical reflections. It also highlights his contributions as an educator who inspired students to think critically and challenge conventional knowledge.
“The Third Ramanujam invites readers to explore the life and legacy of a visionary who sought to integrate science and philosophy. It offers a new perspective on the universe and our understanding of it,” stated a press release.
