Chinnasamy, Chief Operating Officer of Siruthuli, recently met Gagandeep Singh Bedi, Additional Chief Secretary to the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, to discuss the rejuvenation of Singanallur Lake and sustainable solid waste management in urban waterbodies.
The discussion focused on addressing sludge accumulation, improving water percolation, managing inflows, and promoting decentralised wastewater treatment and reuse through natural remediation techniques.
The dialogue also explored long-term strategies to improve water quality and strengthen the restoration and sustainable management of urban waterbodies across Coimbatore.
