I appreciate Royal Care for their foresight
-Minister Sampath Kumar
The Chief Guest, Sampath Kumar, in his special address, appreciated the hospital for inaugurating the Neuro Critical Care Unit with foresight. He said he felt proud that a hospital in Coimbatore was becoming the first in Tamil Nadu to inaugurate this facility.
Noting the greatness of Coimbatore, he shared that people have had great trust in this hospital for the past 10 years. He said this trust reflects the hospital’s service and care, which is a great achievement.
He said that by understanding our daily needs, we have to continuously upgrade and update ourselves. Referring to the increase in Tamil Nadu’s health scheme fund from Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh, he said that this shows how the Chief Minister values every individual’s life.
He also shared that 83% of patients at this hospital spend Rs. 2 lakh or less for their treatment through Royal Care’s services. He said that this affordability is one of the reasons why many people choose to come to the hospital.
He appreciated the hospital and wished that it would continue to achieve many more milestones.
Dr. Madeswaran continuously bringing advanced technologies
-Sukumar, MLA, Sulur
Special Guest Sukumar, in his address, said that people come to the hospital with great trust in their treatment. To provide better services to them, Chairman Dr. Madeswaran is continuously bringing in advanced technologies.

40–45% of patients come with brain-related issues
-Dr. Madeswaran, Chairman, Royal Care
In his presidential address, Dr. Madeswaran shared that the hospital was established 10 years ago with the aim of providing advanced care, not only with specialised doctors but also with advanced, world-class equipment.
He said that since 2016, we have made many technological additions, some of which are the first in Tamil Nadu and India. He also highlighted the recent technological advancements.
“In 2022, we brought MRgFUS (Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound) from Israel for Parkinson’s disease, which was inaugurated by the Israeli Ambassador. With this technology, 316 cases have been treated, and based on our experience, we proudly stand in second place after the US,” shared Dr. Madeswaran.
He also highlighted the recently established Stryker Mako 4 Smart Robotics System for advanced joint replacement surgeries, making Royal Care first in India.
“Around 40–45% of the patients who come to this hospital have brain- or spinal cord-related issues,” he stated.
Moreover, he said that while the primary injuries caused by accidents cannot always be prevented, secondary injuries that may occur after reaching the hospital, including during surgery, can be prevented. Complications such as stroke and lack of oxygen to the brain in unconscious patients can lead to secondary injuries. To prevent such injuries, we have inaugurated this facility today.
In his address, he thanked the chief guest and the special guest for their presence and for inaugurating the new facility.
