Karpagam Institute of Technology (KIT), inducted first-year students in the name ‘New Bie’24, for the academic year 2024-2025 at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, recently.
The event was graced by the presence of Advocate K.Sumathi, a Renowned Public Speaker as the Chief Guest.
The programme was presided over by Dr.R.Vasanthakumar, Chairman and Managing trustee of Karpagam Charity Trust and Dr. P. Manimaran, Principal of the institution delivered the presidential address.
Dr.S.Padmanaban, Head of the S&H department welcomed the gathering.
Dr. D. Bhanu, the Vice Principal, faculty members, and students were also present.
Dr.P.Manimaran in his address highlighted the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering holistic development.
While addressing the gathering, Dr.R.Vasanthakumar, emphasized the significance of faith and god, the value of teachers, and encouraged the students to go out into the world, and bring global technologies back to our country.
K.Sumathi, the Guest Speaker, in her speech highlighted the importance of digital learning,
and eternal learning, she further accentured the life and words of Celine Dion to inspire students on constant hard work and growth.
Moreover, the orientation provided a forum for students to connect with their peers and create long-lasting acquaintances.
