FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Coimbatore Chapter celebrated World Tribal Day at the Seenguli Village, Tholampalayam Panchayat, recently.
Finolex Industries Limited and Mukul Madhav Foundation distributed 25 bicycles and FLO Coimbatore distributed 7 bicycles to deserving students from 9th to 12th standard to facilitate students who go to school from long-distance.
KG Hospital also organised a health camp in the village and more than 100 people benefitted from the medical check-up.
Toys, gifts, snacks and lunch were distributed to the children and others who attended the celebration.
Devika Ramesh, Past Chairperson, the FICCI Ladies Organisation was the Chief Guest on the occasion. CA Meena Swaminathan, present Chairperson and Dr. Kamini Surendaran, Event Chair were present.
