Students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Public School, Ajjanur Branch (BVB Ajjanur) in Coimbatore paid a visit to “Udhayam Mental Health Centre” in Dhaliyur recently, as a part of the school’s community service initiative.
The student representatives from each of class of the school attended the visit to the home, and spent time with the inmates. As part of the noble initiative, the students generously donated rice bags to the residents of the centre.
“These provisions had been lovingly collected through the “PIDIARISI” drive organized during the auspicious celebrations of Navaratri and bhajan classes,” a press release said.
Vice Principal of the school, Lakshmi Prabha and the school’s Physical Education teacher guided the students throughout the visit.
