The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Centennial was honoured with six awards at “HARVEST”, the awards ceremony of Rotary International District 3206, held recently.
The awards were presented in recognition of the club’s outstanding performance in community service during the Rotary year 2025–26.
The club received awards in several categories, including the Vibrant Club Award, financial assistance of ₹7 lakh towards paediatric cancer treatment, the “Maan Shakthi” district priority programme, and the construction of an open-air stage at a Corporation school.
The awards were received by Rtn. Govindarajan, President; Rtn. Rakesh, Secretary; and other members of the club.
In addition, the club received the prestigious Governor’s Citation in recognition of its overall service activities under the leadership of President Govindarajan.
Rtn. Varadarajan was presented with a Special Recognition Award for his dedicated service to Rotary over the years.
The awards were presented by Rtn. Chella K. Raghavendran, District Governor of Rotary International District 3206, in the presence of other Rotary leaders.
