The Rotaract Club of RVS Technical Campus, Coimbatore, in association with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Centennial and IIVM College of Optometry, recently organised a mega eye camp at the campus.
The camp aimed to promote awareness about eye health and provided free eye check-ups for students, staff, and the general public.
Qualified optometrists conducted vision screenings, performed eye examinations, and offered guidance on maintaining proper eye care.

On the same day, in collaboration with the Lions Blood Centre, the institution also organised a blood donation camp titled “Life Link”.
The initiative encouraged voluntary blood donation among students and faculty members, highlighting the importance of saving lives through blood donation.
Both camps witnessed active participation from students and staff, contributing to the success of the event.

The initiatives reflect the commitment of the Rotaract Club towards community service and social responsibility.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Vijayan, Principal of RVS Technical Campus.
The convenors of the program were Mohan Das Gandhi, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Shyamala Devi, Assistant Professor.
Rotaract Club President Rtr. Mathesh, along with student secretaries and team members, played a vital role in organising and executing the events successfully.
