Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CII&E) of PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FICCI FLO (FICCI Ladies Organization), Coimbatore Chapter recently.
The MoU was signed by Jayanthi, Principal of the college and Parnika Gupta, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Coimbatore.
The MoU focused on strengthening women entrepreneurship in terms of innovation, sustainability and business growth with specific focus on business development programs, digital marketing training, and various skill development initiatives for student entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs in the community.
Since 2012, successful collaborative initiatives jointly conducted by the college and FICCI FLO including women entrepreneurship development training programs, hackathons, skill development workshops, product display events, and hosing exhibitions in the campus, have significantly contributed to empowering women entrepreneurs and created an inspiration and exposure to students.
This renewed collaboration is expected to further strengthen industry-academia partnerships and create impactful opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and women-led economic development.
