Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, in association with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and its Systems Council, jointly organised the three-day and the third International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems.
The conference provides a global platform for academicians, researchers, industry experts, and students to deliberate on the latest innovations and future directions in sustainable computing and smart systems.
At the inaugural ceremony, Anand, Branch Counsellor of the institute, welcomed the gathering. This was followed by the Presidential Address delivered by Jaya, Principal, who stressed the institution’s commitment to fostering research and global collaboration.
The Inaugural Address was delivered by the Chief Guest, Santhosh, from the University of Cagliari, Italy. In his speech, he underlined the need for interdisciplinary research and sustainable solutions to address pressing global challenges such as climate change, energy efficiency, and digital transformation.
The highlight of the event was the release of the Conference Book, containing peer-reviewed research papers and proceedings, marking the formal commencement of the technical sessions.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Muniraj, Dean (Research) of the college.
The conference featured plenary talks, keynote lectures, and technical paper presentations on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), renewable energy systems, cloud computing, big data analytics, and smart city technologies.
