Suguna College of Engineering was recently honoured with the “Centre of Excellence Award” by Infosys Foundation and ICT Academy.
Maguteeswaran, Principal, in his welcome address, highlighted the significance of receiving the Centre of Excellence Award from Infosys Foundation and ICT Academy.
Lakshminarayanaswamy, Chairman of the College, in his presidential address, spoke about the importance of students developing industry-relevant skills for their professional development. He expressed his happiness that Suguna College of Engineering had been selected by Infosys Foundation and ICT Academy for the “Centre of Excellence Award”.
The Chief Guest, Balamurali, Senior Manager, ICT Academy, presented the “Centre of Excellence Award” to Lakshminarayanaswamy.
Balamurali stated that, as part of the award, an AI training programme sponsored by Infosys Foundation and ICT Academy would be conducted. The programme will provide 100 hours of training in core and soft skills, leading to joint certification.
Around 100 final-year students from CSE, AI & DS, IT, and ECE have been selected for the programme.
Suguna, President, Suguna Group of Industries & Institutions; Anand, Marketing Manager, ICT Academy; Srikanth Kannan, Secretary; and Krishnakumar, Director of the College, participated in the programme.
