Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions, Coimbatore, and the University of North Texas, USA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently to establish a framework for academic collaboration, faculty and student mobility, and joint research initiatives.
The MoU was signed by Sundar Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, and Lauren, Vice Provost for International Affairs, University of North Texas.
The MoU was exchanged between Paul Krueger, Dean of the College of Engineering, University of North Texas; Soundarrajan, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College; and Shivakumar, Principal and Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, during a function held in Texas, USA.
As part of the visit, the Sri Ramakrishna delegation explored various academic departments and advanced research facilities at the University of North Texas campus in Denton, USA.
Mathiyalagan Palaniappan, Bureau of Overseas Education, was also present on the occasion.
This international partnership marks a significant step towards expanding global academic engagement, fostering research excellence, and creating new opportunities for students and faculty through cross-border collaboration.
