The Sri Ramakrishna Cricket Trust women’s cricket team delivered a masterclass performance at the recent KSR Women’s Tournament, held at KSR College, Tiruchengode.
The team progressed through the league and Super Four stages without losing a match.
In the opening match against the Erode District team, Sri Ramakrishna Cricket Trust won the toss and elected to bowl first. Erode scored 66 for 8 in 15 overs.
Chasing the target, the team reached the target in 8.4 overs without losing a wicket, securing a 10-wicket win.

In the second league match against Prasiddhi Cricket Academy, Sri Ramakrishna Cricket Trust elected to bat first and posted 160 for 1 in 15 overs.
Defending the total, the bowling unit restricted Prasiddhi Cricket Academy to 47 for 8 in 15 overs. The team took two wickets each as the team registered a 113-run victory.
With two consecutive wins, Sri Ramakrishna Cricket Trust finished at the top of their group and advanced to the Super Four stage.
The team continued its unbeaten run in the Super Four stage, completing the tournament without a defeat.
