Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School organised an awareness programme on Thursday to educate students about the recently launched Singappen Special Force initiative of the Tamil Nadu Government.
The programme was conducted by the Singappen Special Force team, led by Anitha, Sub-Inspector of Police, along with team members Maruthammal, Sneha, and Rajesh Kannan.
Addressing the students, the team introduced the objectives and functions of the Singappen Special Force, which was recently launched by the Tamil Nadu Government to enhance the safety and welfare of women and children across the State.

The officers also explained the importance of the emergency helpline number 1091 and highlighted the measures being taken to strengthen the safety and security of women and children.
Students were informed that the special force is equipped with modern technology, including drones, body-worn cameras, and advanced monitoring systems, enabling effective surveillance, quick response, and enhanced protection in vulnerable areas.
The programme was attended by Vidhya, Principal of the school, and Ravi Kumar, Administrative Officer, who appreciated the initiative and its relevance for students.
The awareness session motivated students to become responsible, confident, and safety-conscious citizens. The Singappen Special Force team encouraged the students to make the best use of the knowledge shared during the programme and to learn valuable lessons on safety, responsibility, awareness, and empowerment.

The management and the Principal expressed their appreciation to the Government of Tamil Nadu for its efforts to strengthen public safety, improve student welfare, and create a secure environment for women, children, and the general public. They also conveyed their best wishes for the continued success of such initiatives across the State.
