Sakthi Institute of Management Studies (SIIMS), in association with Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), Pollachi, recently organised the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Inauguration-cum-Orientation Programme.
Kavitha, UBA Coordinator, SIIMS, delivered the welcome address, and Sharmila, Director, SIIMS gave the inaugural address, highlighting the vision and importance of UBA in connecting academic institutions with rural development.
The Chief Guest, Somasundaram, UBA Regional Coordinator from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, delivered the special address. He spoke on the role of higher educational institutions in rural transformation through UBA. Ayyappan, UBA Coordinator, MCET, delivered the vote of thanks.
