The Rotary Decagon, a collaborative group comprising 10 Rotary and Anns Clubs under Rotary International District 3206, recently organised a Valaikaapu ceremony.
The 10 clubs are the Rotary Clubs of Coimbatore Aakruthi, Aalam, Rise, Manchester, Metropolis, East, Sangamam, Heritage, Kovai and Vadavalli.
Rtn Devi Maruti, Rotary District First Lady, was the Chief Guest.
At the event, 54 expectant mothers were felicitated, and a Valhaikaapu lunch was served to 154 people in the Primary Health Care Centre, Somayampalayam.
This joint initiative stands as yet another example of the power of unity, compassion, and service, as the Rotary Decagon continues to work together to create a lasting impact in the community, the organisers shared.
