The Department of Economics (SF) at PSG College of Arts and Science and the Department of B.A. (Hons.) International Business at PSG Institute of Advanced Studies organised a one-day international seminar titled “AI Policies & Strategies: An Interdisciplinary Perspective.”
The seminar brought together experts from academia and industry to discuss the evolving role of artificial intelligence across disciplines.
Jayanthi, Principal of PSG College of Arts and Science, highlighted the need to equip learners with AI-driven skills to meet the demands of the evolving global landscape. Badri Narayana Gopalakrishnan (USA), economist and advisor to NITI Aayog, delivered the keynote address on responsible AI adoption and policy frameworks.
Kapil, Founder and CEO of Dossier Nexus; Abinaya Sowriraghavan, Founder and Head of AI & Data Science at Ace Keystone Consultants; and Kamali, Founder and CEO of Zorro Healthtech (Fittoria), shared insights on AI-powered decision intelligence, entrepreneurship, business transformation, and emerging opportunities.
The seminar strengthened participants’ understanding of AI applications and inspired innovation through engaging interactions with experts.
