An 11th-grade student of National Model Senior Secondary School named Ahil Balaji, participated in the CBSE South Zone Swimming Competitions held recently at Kingston International School and won in multiple categories.
He won two gold medals in the 200-meter butterfly and 200-meter backstroke categories, two silver medals in the 100-meter butterfly and 400-meter individual medley, and a bronze medal in the 200-meter individual medley.
Additionally, he won two silver medals at the Chief Minister’s Trophy Sports Competition (state level), with a cash prize of ₹75,000 for each, and two gold medals at the district level, with ₹6,000 for each.
In the CBSE National Swimming Championship, he secured a silver medal in the 200-meter butterfly category. Due to his dedication and talent, he has been selected to participate in the SGFI National Competition in Rajkot, Gujarat.
