GKNMH Medical Research Institute and Out Patient Centre (iOP) inaugurated ‘Nam Nalam’, a wellness initiative program by the Department of Alternative Medicines, on 18th April 2025. The program was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, Chief Executive Officer, GKNMH.
The initiative aims to provide holistic and natural healing therapies through specialized clinics for Ayurveda & Varma, Yoga & Naturopathy, and Acupuncture & Reflexology.
“Nam Nalam” will focus on addressing common health concerns such as migraine, pain management management, offering patients a complementary approach to conventional medical treatments. The initiative emphasizes personalized care and the integration of traditional healing practices with modern understanding.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Veluswamy highlighted GKNM’s commitment to comprehensive patient care and the growing importance of integrating alternative medicine for overall well-being.
He emphasized that “Nam Nalam” will provide patients with a wider range of therapeutic options, tailored to their individual needs.
