Tobacco consumption remains a leading cause of preventable death and disease globally. Its impact is devastating, contributing significantly to chronic respiratory diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and various forms of cancer.
Observing the 2026 World No Tobacco Day, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) launched a major community awareness initiative, including a signature campaign designed to encourage the public to commit to a tobacco-free lifestyle. Through this campaign, KMCH aims to highlight the urgent need for individuals to understand the risks and take proactive steps toward quitting.
