Coimbatore’s Yuvashri Premchand, a 9th grade student of Dr. Dasarathan International School who competed in the recently held 17th South Zone Shotgun Championship bagged 5 gold medals, making her school and the city proud.

She secured gold medals in both the Youth and Junior categories in the Skeet event, scoring 23/50 and earning selection for the National Championships. In the Trap event, she won gold medals in the Youth, Junior, and Senior categories, earning a total score of 32/50 thus making her get selected for the National Championships.

Yuvashri is a student member of the Coimbatore Rifle Association and is coached by Jayesh Chand.
