In the recently concluded Coimbatore District Level Carrom Tournament held in the city, 3 students of Masakalipalayam Corporation Middle School displayed their extraordinary talents in the sport, winning 2 championships for the school in the Under-14 category.

Derek Prince of 8th std was crowned the Singles Champion and the team of Viswadhar and Rudra Dakshin was named the Doubles Champion. Their achievement has brought great pride and recognition to Masakalipalayam Corporation Middle School.

Through their victory at the district level, the students have now qualified to represent Coimbatore district in the upcoming state-level carrom tournament. Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Katta Ravi Teja IAS extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students and also conveyed his best wishes for the students’ success in the upcoming event.
