Rotary District 3206 recently organised its first Annet’s District Meeting with a visit to the Vellingiri Goshala, owned by Shiva Ganesh, Managing Director of Shree Devi Textile.
The event was attended by Shiva Ganesh, Rtn. Maruti, District Governor of Rotary District 3206, Rtn. Devi Maruti, First Lady, district officers, and Rotary club presidents and secretaries from across the district.
As part of the programme, around 750 members visited the goshala, while nearly 600 family members participated in a community lunch. During the visit, 3,000 chapatis, 150 kg of jaggery, 150 bunches of bananas, and 150 bundles of Agathi Keerai were offered to the cows.
Rotary District 3206 expressed its appreciation to Shiva Ganesh for his warm hospitality, meticulous planning, and wholehearted support in making the event a grand success.
