The Embassy of India in Tehran has issued a fresh advisory cautioning Indian citizens not to travel to Iran amid ongoing regional tensions and uncertainty in flight operations.
In the advisory released on April 23, the embassy stated that despite reports of some flights resuming between India and Iran, citizens are strongly advised not to travel to Iran by air or land.
The warning comes in light of continuing airspace restrictions and operational uncertainties, which are affecting international flight services to and from the country.
The embassy also stressed its earlier guidance for Indian nationals currently in Iran, urging them to leave the country through designated land border routes.
It emphasized that all such movements should be carried out strictly in coordination with the embassy.
