Vi has recorded net subscriber additions for the second consecutive month, according to the latest telecom subscription data released by TRAI.
As per the March 2026 report, Vi added 1,02,899 subscribers, following net additions of 21,927 subscribers in February 2026, signalling early signs of stabilisation in its subscriber base.
In March, the company added 1,92,211 rural subscribers.
Vi witnessed subscriber additions across 15 circles in March- Assam (added 14,496), Bihar (added 57452), Gujarat (added 1,01,748), Haryana (added 23725), HP (added 4112), J&K (added 7875), Karnataka (added 1,00,701), Kerala (added 27,082), Kolkata (added 4219), Maharashtra (added 19272), Mumbai (added 14702), Odisha (added 17,717), Punjab (added 17097), Tamil Nadu (added 42455), and UP-East (added 47869).
This growth is reflective of Vi’s ongoing network investments and evolving product strategy.
The company’s differentiated offerings—such as Nonstop Hero (unlimited 4G data) and Super Hero (half-day unlimited 4G), alongside its ongoing 5G rollout—are beginning to resonate with consumers.
Vi has also recently announced 5G expansion to 90 more cities taking the total 5G footprint to 133 by May 2026 and has already started rolling out 5G services as per the commitment.
Vi had similarly recorded subscriber additions across 15 circles in February, underlining a consistent trend over the past two months.
