Inter Foundry and Inter Diecast, an international three-day exhibition for the ferrous and non-ferrous foundry industry, was inaugurated today at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex.
Organised by the Foundries Development Foundation (FDF) and VA Exhibitions, the expo will continue till September 12.
The expo was inaugurated by the Guests of Honour, Parag Sharma, Vice President – Global Purchasing & Supply Chain, India and Asia Pacific Region, Stellantis, and Sreenivas Naidu, Executive Director, ZF Wind Power, Coimbatore.
Following the inauguration, the Guests of Honour formally inaugurated the expo stalls and castings zone by cutting the ribbon in the presence of members of the organising committee and heads of the Indian Institute of Foundry (IIF).
A total of 322 exhibitors are participating in the expo, including 39 exhibitors from countries such as Germany, China and Italy.
The organisers expect around 150 buyers to visit the expo.
During the inauguration, Jayakumar Ramdass, Chairman, Organising Committee, delivered the welcome address, while Ashwani Pande, CEO, VA Exhibitions, spoke about the expo.
