M Inn, a premium business class hotel in Coimbatore under Martin Group of Companies organized a traditional cake-mixing ceremony on Wednesday, ahead of this Christmas season.
Hosted by Leema Martin Rose, MLA; the ceremony saw various Rotarians and businesswomen involve in preparing the mixture for the X-Mas Cake.
The mixture which eventually weighed a ton included ingredients such as cashews, almond flakes, pistachios, orange peel, black raisins, figs, dried fruits, cinnamon, and cloves.
Chef Raja, the Head Chef at M-Inn Hotels, officially inaugurated the mixing process. Staff members, special guests, and customers participated in large numbers to blend them with liquor, honey, and vanilla essence. This mixture will be stored in airtight containers until Christmas, and it will be used to bake the cakes weighing a ton.
