Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPV) recently. This strategic collaboration is designed to foster continuing education.
The MoU was signed by VIT’s Registrar Jayabarathi and TMPV’s Chief Human Resources Officer Sitaram Kandi. Through this MoU, VIT will offer B.Tech(Manufacturing Engineering) for the TMPV employees of Tata Motors in Ranipet plant from the upcoming academic year 2026-27.
The MoU exchange was formalized by VIT’s Chancellor G. Viswanathan and Sitaram Kandi, Chief Human Resources Officer, Tata Motors.
