NABARD Consultancy Services and Aditya Training and Infra, Bengaluru, with financial assistance from the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, are jointly organising PM Vikas Skill Development Training programmes.

The training programmes will be conducted in the categories of Digital Agricultural Extension Promoter, Floriculturist, and Organic Grower at various locations across Tamil Nadu through the constituent and affiliated colleges of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.

Candidates enrolled in these certificate training programmes will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 2,000. The training will last 75 to 105 days. Classes will be conducted Monday to Friday, for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 hours per day.

Training classes are expected to commence during the third or fourth week of July.

Participants can attend the training from their homes by travelling to the nearest training centre. Accommodation and food will not be provided. However, refreshments will be served during the morning and evening sessions.

The age limit for applicants is 14 to 45 years. Preference of 33 percent will be given to women. Additionally, 25% reservation has been earmarked for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and differently abled persons.
