Sri Ramakrishna Polytechnic College hosted the SRPTC Trophy 2026, a state-level volleyball tournament for school students, bringing together some of the region’s finest young volleyball talent.
The two-day tournament was inaugurated by Gopalakrishnan, Principal of the college. A total of 48 teams, comprising 30 boys’ teams and 18 girls’ teams, participated in the tournament.
In the girls’ category, PSGR Krishnammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School won the championship, while SVGV Matriculation Higher Secondary School secured the runners-up position. Annai Violet Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School finished as the second runners-up and third runners-up, respectively.
Mahisha of PSGR Krishnammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School was named the Most Valuable Player in the girls’ category.

In the boys’ category, SVGV Matriculation Higher Secondary School emerged as the champions, while Keerthiman Matriculation Higher Secondary School finished as the runners-up. Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Crescent Matriculation Higher Secondary School secured the third and fourth positions, respectively.
Sanjai of SVGV Matriculation Higher Secondary School was adjudged the Most Valuable Player in the boys’ category.
