The Department of Computer Science of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women hosted the SHE CODES -Hackathon as a part of Women’s Day celebrations.

A total of 73 problem statements were received, with over 20 plus colleges registering for the hackathon. Out of these, 20 teams were selected to compete.

Problem statements were received across various critical domains, including women safety, irrigation & Water Management, solid waste management, healthcare, energy, cyber safety guide for women, smart campus, AI in healthcare, environmental safety, and city surveillance.

The jury members, consisting of industry experts, evaluated the team based on their expertise in technology, innovation, feasibility, scalability, and impact.

Chitra, Principal, announced the winner and felicitated the winning team from KG College of Arts and Science, with the first prize, along with a cash award.

The second prize was awarded to Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science, and the third prize went to Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, also with a cash award. Recognition was given to the other participants.
