H.H. Sachitananda Maharaj of Bilaspur, an ardent follower of Kanchi Mahaperiyava, will be observing the sacred Chaturmasya Vratam this year at the Ramar Temple in Ram Nagar, Coimbatore.
The arrangements for this important spiritual observance are being made under the leadership of M. Krishnan, Managing Director of Sri Krishna Sweets, who has been honoured to organise the event.
The Chaturmasya Vratam period will be observed from July 9 to September 7. During this sacred period, saints across India stop travelling and remain in one place to engage in intense prayers, religious practices, and self-reflection, all aimed at the welfare of humanity and the preservation of dharma.
Spiritual leaders believe that during this period, a special divine aura surrounds those undertaking the Vratam. The devotees who have the darshan of such saints and offer obeisance are blessed with spiritual merit and may find relief from the effects of past karma.
This is a great opportunity to wash away the ill effects of one’s karma.
